Texas Marijuana Policy Lobby Day (3/14/23)

Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 10 AM – 3 PM

Texans of all political persuasions agree: It’s time for cannabis law reform! With our lawmakers meeting for only 140 days every two years, we have a lot of work to do in a short period of time. Your participation is critical to changing laws relating to marijuana in Texas. Our Texas Marijuana Policy Lobby Day is a participatory event where we, the people, will engage our legislators and their staff.

Register today! Registration is free and helps us prepare materials for attendees.

Participants will focus on:

• expanding the Compassionate Use Program for safe and legal access to medical cannabis to more patients and,
• reducing penalties for low-level possession of marijuana.

All materials and a legislative briefing and advocacy training will be provided for those who have never visited the Capitol. We will break up into lobby teams to visit. Collectively, we will visit every legislative office in the Capitol!
